This is Hollywood Lutheran Church as it looked in the 1960s:

The image seen on the main page of this website is how the Hollywood Lutheran Church looked when it was first constructed in the 1920's.  Much has happened since then.  The congregation grew rapidly and a second building was added.  That building is seen on the right.  Behind the main buildings is another building that housed a school and medical facility.  Today the  space that was the school's gymnasium is occupied by the Mount Hollywood Congregational Church, a UCC congregation.  Some of the class rooms are now used as an office, Ascenia Homeless Services, the offices of ADORE LA a parallel ministry to Hollywood Lutheran Church, and the offices of the On Ma Eum Korean language church.
